The vineyards of Château des Chapelains have been in the same family since the 17th century.
Two generations sold the grapes to a cooperative, and then Pierre Charlot built a new cellar and began to produce and sell his own wines.
Overlooking the beautiful Dordogne valley on the southern slopes of Sainte Foy la Grande is situated the 50 hectares vineyard of Château des Chapelains.
