Presentation
The Château des Chapelains is located south of Sainte Foy la Grande and its vineyards overlook the Dordogne River.
The estate belongs to the same family since the 17th century. Two generations have been delivering the harvest to local coops. With the arrival of Pierre Charlot, wines are all estate bottled and distributed.
The vineyard is conducted in a sustainable manner: only organic fertilizers are used, no chemical herbicides are used since more than 5 years.
In the cellar, only top equipment is used: sorting table, micro-oxygenation, temperature control. Some Grand Cru estates could be jealous!
The estate has established a full traceability from the vines to the wines in order to guaranty a great quality and regularity.
Pierre Charlot’s aim is to produce seducing and clean wines.
