At Clos du Caillou, we profit from a very favorable geographic location and of typical terroirs. Our soils are sand or river stones which enabled us to build our cuvees around parcel selections.
Our vineyard was planted mainly between 1956 and 1970. It is maintained in a traditional way, in respect of the environment and with low yields. We are in conversion to organic farming and are experimenting bio-dynamic farming on part of the estate.
Our wines are the true expression of our terroir and of the vintage. Ageing is made in oak casks or 400L Barrels, depending on the blend and vintage.
