The region of the Bas Armagnac is a region of art, the art of celebrating life, taking its inspiration from abundant and generous nature.
For many years, the Darroze family has devoted it’s time to learning the soils and the vineyards, to better select those estates and brandies which contain the subtle flavour that mark a great Bas-Armagnac.
This experience has narrowed their selection to just over 60 different vintages from 30 hand-picked estates. Today a Collection of more than 200 carefully chosen brandies ages I the Darroze cellars in Roquefort.
The art of brandy tasting is part of the Gascon way of life, taking one’s time, appreciating that special moment of encountering an Armagnac Everything is here for an outstanding vineyard…the soils and its diversity of terroirs, the climate, ideal for the ripening of grapes, the forest that protects the vine and grow the oak in which Armagnac is aged incomparably, the Gascons who participate enthusiastically in the creation of the unparalleled product.
In 2007, Marc Darroze decides to diversify his activity. Quite naturally, he looks in Gascony and finds a wine estate in the southern Bordeaux region called Graves.
His goal is to produce wines of character representative of the potential of the estates terroir. To achieve this, Marc immediately has decided to grow his grapes organicaly and engaged his estate in the certification process « Agriculture Biologique (AB) ».
