Presentation
Francis and Luc de Conti have harvested their first grapes in 1986. Less than 10 years later, they are recognized as one of the locomotives of Bergerac. Yet they are still not satisfied with their wines. Their characters will not show enough. So, as 1994 is the big turning point. Château Tour des Gendres goes to organic farming.
A long way, and a long process, because certification will be requested in 2005. Meanwhile, as changes in the vineyards. No more chemical herbicides and insecticides, spot tillage and return of ladybugs.
Work which has borne fruit. Today the result is there, and speaks for itself. Wines Tour des Gendres have changed the grape has faded in favor of the Soil. Now the dream is realized. Always enthusiastic, Luke and Francis continue their research. The ideal wine is not bottled yet but the two cousins are hoping he will wear the label of Tour des Gendres.
